Accessibility Services

  • Accessible Toilets

There are several accessible toilets on the festival site. The toilets are locked and can only be used by people with permission and specific needs.

To receive a key, please visit the Information Wagon by the entrance to the festival site. You can borrow a key to the accessible toilets by paying a deposit of DKK 200.

Your deposit will be refunded when you return the key.

Please note: As we have a limited number of keys, you may be asked to provide documentation of your need to use the accessible toilets when visiting the Information Wagon. A membership card from selected organisations, such as Colitis-Crohn Foreningen, is sufficient.

Once the 2026 festival map is ready, the accessible toilets will be marked on it. You can find the map under News and in our app.

  • Wheelchair Users

Please note that the festival site is mainly covered in grass, which can make it difficult to get around in a wheelchair or for guests with disabilities.

The site has been designed to cope with rain as well as possible, and drainage has been installed in case of heavy rainfall. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be no wet or muddy areas.

There are wheelchair viewing platforms at the Astra stage.

You can also download our app, where you can find accessibility points of interest.

  • Companion

Wheelchair users or guests with a disability who can present a valid companion card from Danske Handicaporganisationers Brugerservice or an equivalent organisation abroad may bring one companion free of charge per day.

If you need a companion at the festival, simply purchase a regular ticket for yourself.

When entering the festival site, you and your companion should visit the Information Wagon located by the NorthSide entrance. Your names will be registered there, and your companion will receive a one-day wristband.

There is no need to contact us in advance.

Please note: Even if you have purchased a full-festival ticket and are bringing the same companion every day, your companion must still receive a new one-day wristband each day.

  • Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is located by Haveforening Af 1934.

Access to the accessible parking area is via Rugholmvej.

A valid disabled parking permit is required to park in the accessible parking area.

Accommodation, transport and parking

  • Transport to NorthSide

All roads lead to Eskelunden… almost. Below are a few suggestions for the most direct routes.

We recommend that everyone who is able to walks or cycles to NorthSide.

    Bike

There are nine large bicycle parking areas close to the entrance, with a total capacity of 25,000 bikes.

The bicycle parking areas will be marked with a unique number and colour combination, making it easier to find your bike again after a long day at the festival. Volunteers and security staff will also be available in the area to guide guests both on arrival and departure.

Bicycle parking is at your own risk.

We recommend cycling to the festival site via Åhavevej to avoid congestion on the Brabrand paths.

    On foot

If you choose to walk, depending on where you are coming from, you can:
… walk south along Ringvejen (O2) towards Åhavevej
… follow Frederiks Allé and Skanderborgvej until you reach Åhavevej
… follow the path from Godsbanen and P. Hjort-Lorenzens Vej.

You can enter either “Eskelunden” or “NorthSide” into your phone’s map app to get directions.

    Taxi

DRIVR: You can find a dedicated DRIVR taxi area on Marselis Boulevard, just after the railway bridge towards Skanderborgvej.

Other taxis are located on Tøndergade.

    Buses

When heading home from the festival site, you can catch a bus from the nearby Circle K on Skanderborgvej.

Bus routes 1A, 2A and 4A make an additional stop at Marselis Boulevard/Skanderborgvej if you are coming from the city centre.

You can read more on the Midttrafik website here.

    City buses

Several bus routes can take you close to Eskelunden and NorthSide. We recommend using Rejseplanen to find the bus route closest to you.

    Car

Parking is not available at Eskelunden. NorthSide does not provide car parking in connection with the festival. We recommend using one of the other transport options listed above.

If you do choose to arrive by car, please use Aarhus Municipality’s parking areas or one of the city’s car parks.

Payment on site

  • Cashless

You can only pay by card or phone at NorthSide.

Safety and rules

  • Medication

You may bring over-the-counter medication onto the festival site, but it must be kept in its original packaging so it can be identified at the entrance. You may only bring enough medication for your own use for one day.

If you have prescription medication, you may also only bring enough for one day for your own use. You must be able to document which medication you are carrying and provide proof of a prescription or medical certificate.

If these guidelines are not followed, the medication will be confiscated at the entrance.

If you are still unsure about what you may bring, or if you have special requirements, please email info@northside.dk

  • Video and photography equipment

DSLR cameras, audio recorders, video cameras and other professional equipment are not permitted on the festival site.

Only small digital video cameras (pocket-sized) and mobile phones are allowed on site. If you are taking photos for a media outlet or for other professional purposes, you are welcome to apply for accreditation.

We do not allow cameras for private use due to restrictions from international artists, and because too many cameras during concerts can be disruptive to the audience.

  • Photographers at NorthSide

A lot of photos are taken at NorthSide, and some of them may be used for marketing purposes. We use an app to collect your consent if we have taken a photo of you where you are the main focus.

If a photo of you is used that you are not happy with, you can always ask us to delete it. Contact us at: info@northside.dk
