Omah Lay

Omah Lay is the Afrobeats phenomenon we’ve all been waiting for!

From the streets of Port Harcourt to smooth Afro-fusion in Eskelunden. In just a few years, Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Omah Lay has become one of the most in-demand Afrobeats artists around. His breakthrough came in 2020 with the EP Get Layd, where tracks like ‘Bad Influence’ and ‘You’ kick-started a meteoric rise that has since delivered hits including ‘Understand’, ‘Soso’, ‘Reason’ and ‘Holy Ghost’.

Omah Lay blends Afrobeats, R&B and pop with dark synths, captivating melodies and lyrics that aren’t afraid to dig beneath the surface. Love, loneliness and mental health all play a major role in his musical world, and on his 2022 debut album Boy Alone, the microphone almost became his therapist. The album went on to surpass one billion streams, while his honest and vulnerable songwriting firmly established Omah Lay as a name far beyond Nigeria’s borders.

Since then, he has joined forces with artists including Justin Bieber, Tyla, Ozuna and Davido, and his music has now surpassed six billion streams worldwide. His collaboration with Davido on ‘With You’ even earned a Grammy nomination in the Best African Music Performance category.

Most recently, the Afro-fusion crooner quickly sold out his concert at Poolen in November 2026.

Get ready for Omah Lay to transform Eskelunden into Port Harcourt with his smooth Afro-fusion sound.
